Wii U Updates
Two big updates for the Wii U coming in Spring and Summer that will address many problems people have been having as well as to add new features. Both updates will help in returning users to the home screen faster.
Virtual Console Plans
Virtual Console games for the Wii U gamepad will follow after the Spring update. Not all Virtual Console games from the Wii will be available right away. Some NES and SNES games will be the first few to be released as they are rewriting them with back-up features, off-TV play, and Miiverse integration. They also plan to release GBA games for the Wii U VC as well in the future. Special prices will be made available to those that already own the Wii counterpart of the Wii U VC games they want to buy. (Note that all NES and SNES games will be for sale at the same prices they were on the Wii.) If you have already transferred your data from your Wii to the Wii U the shop will already show the reduced priced to previous owners. Miiverse
Pikmin 3 lets you use the gamepad as a camera to take photos from the Pikmin's POV and share them to others in Miiverse. Wiifit U will let make close communities for just you and your group that are working out. Without the world knowing your weight.
Miiverse features coming. The ability to make your own groups. More than one community per game. Better UI changes, and filtering of post. Smartphone integration for Miiverse is something this Spring. At first it will be only browser-based but later they have plans for a Miiverse app.

New Game Announcements
- New Yoshi game made by the same team that made Kirby’s Eric Yarn and it’s lead my the same man that made Yoshi’s Story.
- Working with Atlus, Nintendo and their teams are making a new title called, Sin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem. (No other details at this time)
Zelda News
Lead of Zelda team talks about “Rethinking” Zelda and the problems they currently see- Completing Dungeons in a certain order

New Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD is played for a Fall release. With al the features you would expect from a Nintendo Wii U title. Along with the HD graphics it will have more refined game=play mechanics, off-TV play, and Miiverse functionality.
